What a tribute!!!!!

Post by TheNextBigJobber » Tue Feb 18, 2003 7:05 pm

Despite what people say about the WWE, they know how to honor their fellow brothers. Last week, the main reason why i thought they didn't honor Hennig more was of time constraints. I went to the WWE website at aroun 4:30 with absolutely no mention of Perfect's death whatsoever. I went back at around 7 pm. There it was. A slight mention.
And I come in here and there is arguing instead of reminiscing

Now I ask you all these simple questions.

1. Did anyone think the WWE had time to put together a tribute?
2. Isn't anyone sastified that they acknowledged it on Raw and on WWE.com?
and 3. When they showed the video last night, didn't you all mark out as i was? Didn't you all think that was the sweetest tribute? The man's theme was played. The vignettes of Perfection was right on the money.

Tell me you all didn't give a 21 gum swat salute.

Damn, I love being a wrestling fan. Kudos to WWE for honoring Hennig with such PERFECTION.

i thought that tribute was awesome, personally it was the best thing on Raw last night. I think they didn't do a tribute sooner is because they didn't have time, i read that they found him dead that Monday morning, so the WWE probally didn't have the time.

That tribute was amazing. There were so many great moments in that video. I loved the one were he threw the football and then ran to catch it. Really, that was a very respectful tribute. I also thought it was cool how Jericho did the gum swat.

It was really nice. I would have liked to see a little bit more of his "perfect" wrestling moves, but that's okay. WWE did a good job, and I was happy with that.

1) They obviously didn't have time to prepare something for last week.
2) Yes!
3) The tribute was very nice.

And, I liked Jericho's gum swatting as well.

I get to see this on Friday. Can't wait to see it though I wish it wasn't necessary, of course.

I was good but I thought they should have done it before the show went on the air instead of having a match. Also it could have been alittle longer, I would have liked to see a RAW extra where after Raw went off the air they would have had a classic match, now that would have been great.
