It's just about time to drop the puck for game 6 where we'll see if the Hawks can win the cup on home ice.

If the Hawks can win it tonight, it'll be the first time since 1938 (77 years ago) that they'll have won the Stanley Cup on home ice.

We've got two periods in the books, one to go and the Hawks got the only goal on the board. Let's see how the last twenty minutes plays out.

There you have it, your 2015 Stanley Cup Champions: The Chicago Blackhawks

A Home Ice Stanley Cup Win for the first time in 77 years in a hard fought 4-2 series. The Bolts left it all on the ice and they gave the Hawks a fight, but the Hawks pulled through.

3 in 6. It'll be interesting to see the changes this off-season but we're going to be contenders for a good long while. For now, I'll just enjoy a well-earned victory in Chicago. It was nice to see Timonen and Desjardins get their first Cup. Timonen will probably retire with the honor. Duncan Keith just got himself into the Hall of Fame. Zero doubt in my mind.

The highlight of my night had to be Corey Crawford holding up the Cup, though. He gets so much grief from Hawks fans (myself included), let alone opposing teams. He made so many great saves throughout the season and got a shutout in the biggest game all year. I really hoped we'd hear the infamous "CRAW-ford" chant tonight, but out of respect this time. There's no doubt for me that he's our guy and he deserves every dollar and every minute of glory. I enjoyed Scott Darling's run but Corey Crawford ate so much shit and came out of it with a 24 karat smile. Good on you, Crow.

I'm going to the parade. Let's enjoy it for now but we'll be back at it next year. ONE GOAL.

Another season in the books. Now time for offseason foolishness until the Pens preseason opens September 21.

Congrats, Blackhawks!
