Florida have also clinched a spot. Jags is going to the post season!

Isles are currently leading against the Bolts 5-2. Keep it up, lads.

Nope, they're long out of it. There will be no Canadian teams in the playoffs at all this year. First time that's happened since 1970.

Sens up 1-0 over the Pens end of first period.

It's going to look strange having no Canadian teams in the playoffs this year.

Sid scored an empty netter with six seconds left in the third, giving the Pens an AWESOME 5-3 win!

The Isles score a playoff berth too!

Edmonton's last game ever at Rexall Place. It was one of the oldest rinks in the league. A major chapter of Oilers history comes to an end tonight.

That'll do it. Edmonton's run at Rexall place, which spanned 40 years and two leagues, comes to an end with a 6-2 win over the Canucks. A fitting end, if I do say so. Though I only wish it ended in the post-season.

What a ceremony after the Oilers game. Just about every living Oiler alumni that's not currently playing elsewhere came out for it and every last one was introduced. Great to see the likes of Gretzky, Corson, McSorley, Kurri and Messier sharing space with later Oilers greats like Ryan Smyth, Fernando Pisani, Georges Laraque, Jussi Markanen and today's young talent. What a collection of amazing players past and present and it was quite the heartfelt, fitting send off for the Oilers home.
