Edmonton retains their 2-1 lead over the Sharks end of second period. This is quite an entertaining game so far.

Indeed they did. Let's see how the last twenty minutes unfold.

Isles lost 6-3 to Philthy. They tried to mount a comeback, but it was too little, too late. Their playoff hopes are starting to slip away.

Yes indeed! It was a close one, Sharks pulled it to within a goal, but the Oilers held on.

Isles can make one last push for things tonight against the Devils, but they can't afford to lose another game if they want to see the post season.

Nice job by the Pens!

Isles also got the job done. They're not out of this yet.

Flames and Blues both clinched their spots tonight. Only one spot remains in the Western Conference; Nashville is sitting in it and only L.A. can unseat them, albeit in a long shot at best.

Preds had the early game today, and that is how the West was won. The spots are all but sealed there, as the Kings can still technically make it, but they have to win all of their last five games, the Preds have to love every game in regulation. So, if the Preds get so much as a point, it's done.

Oilers and Ducks are on the ice and live on CBC, so I'm tuning in.

Oilers are down 2-1 after a quick powerplay goal. The Ducks have been hot on the powerplays, Edmonton have decidedly been not. Still eleven minutes left for Edmonton to tie it up.

Video of Michal Neuvirth's collapse 7 minutes into the game. I'm not even a Flyers fan and found this scary as hell.

That was a scary moment. Word was that he was suffering from a flu and was likely dehydrated as well. He seems to be doing okay, but Philly are keeping him off the ice for the time being to recuperate. Mason is sick with the same bug, apparently, Philly are down to their AHL goalies.

Eddie Lack took quite a hit Monday night, but returned between the pipes today against the Pens.

Glad to hear that Lack is back in action, that was a brutal hit.

The Isles beat the Sabres today 4-2 to keep hope alive! They're still fighting for that playoff spot.
