Because he is a commentator for Canadian channel broadcasts of the NHL (the Rogers networks and CBC) and not the American channels. He doesn't appear on any channel she would be watching the game on.

Yeah, LC... It be cool to see P.K. Subban win the cup with Nashville after leaving the Canadiens
He did it better so far over Shea Weber but Weber helped the Canadiens a lot since there bad season last year!
