Breaking News Alert

There was a mistake in the reporting on one of the days of the tournament. On day one, the Chris Hero/El Generico vs. Cody Runnels/Naofumi Yamamoto match was improperly reported as a victory for Hero & Generico when the actual winners were Team WWE via a Beautiful Disaster kick on Chris Hero.

The correct standings for B Block after Day 2 are as follows:

Hero & Generico - 2 Points (1-1)
KUSHIDA & BARBARO - 2 Points (1-1)
Ricochet & Pac - 2 Points (1-1)
WWE - 2 Points (1-1)
Taichi & TAKA - 0 Points (0-1)

Coming along nicely, GenHeroico got the W, but I expected as much. I did not expect Pac and Ricochet to beat TAKA and Taichi though.

Old Man Power fighting hard.

GenHerico not getting along.

Bernie brings Nak, Ishi and Yano to the draw. That's a show to be reckoned with right there.

The battle of abundant capitalization ends with a win for KUSHIDA and BARBARO. I blame it on the lack of Taichi capitalizing all the letters in his name. If he were TAICHI, this match would of been much harder to call a winner of.

And that dastardly WWE, Yamamoto's just been hiding out on the WWE undercard all these years waiting for a chance to take New Japan by storm.

Which would be true, if Cody and Yamamoto weren't former IWGP Jr. Tag champs, the first members of WWE to win gold, nor having the longest reign and most defenses in a reign of any WWE titleholder.

Then again it is the IWGP Jr. Tag Team tiles...

I was referring more to the entire run you've given the former Yoshi Tatsu, who's nothing but job fodder for most of his time on this side of the world with the WWE.

And I was countering with the first 6 months of his run, when he wasn't a jobber, as the other kids had to build up

But I'm not dismissing the first 6 months of his NJPW run, I'm relishing the entire run you've given him compared to his IRL run in the WWE when he had the one flash of a push in ECW then got relegated to the background faster than you can say Funaki.
