What was your favourite version of the Spider-man Cartoon?
Well mine was 1994 one but I havn't seen it for the last decade
But I have Teletoon Retro and well Spider-man 1967 series use to be on
the Family channel a few years back I don't know why because it was
out of the blue and that version is the only one that seems to come back
on more then the 2 a head of them.

Between the both channels I had watched Spider-man(1967) a fair amount
but from Teletoon Retro I seem to watch it once and a while but not as often
but when it was on Family it was commercial free which was nice about it.

The 1994 version is probably the best. It had a best voice acting, and the stories are pretty close to the source material.

Spectacular Spiderman is a close second:

It strikes a great balance between silly and serious.

Also wanted to add, the best intro to any Spiderman series(although the series itself sucked):

I just got excess to Netflix well my sister gave me her pass and i've gotten into Spierman and friends(1981-1986)

I like that girl Sunfire and Icemana is pretty cool to. They were an awesome duo together. I don't find many shows
like this are all to good but this is really good in my opinion.

I'm almost done watching Spiderman and his amazing friends:

Excellent show, but weirdest character i've noticed in it was Videoman.
Dr. Octopus only was in one episode and his voice sound different and unusall.

I maybe not the spider-man fanatic like everyone else I accually stopped watching Spiderman years ago
But getting back into his fandom again!!

The 67 Spiderman Series was ok, I've watched it many times! It's been on Family Channel commerical free two years back
and now playing on Teletoon Retro and catch it once and a while.

I don't know why I said the 1981 version was bad but I never seen the series in the first place.
I apologise for that because now with Netflix excess I have watch Spiderman and his amazing friends plus
now i'm watching Spider-man 1981 show probably linked to Spiderman and his amazing friends.

I am finding the show very enjoyable to watch and it's accually quite funny to and whats with the cold bit?
I also liked the Incredible shrinking spiderman episode to reminded me a lot of the Intercredible shrinking turtles
episode a decade later on a different show which they probably copied it from good old Spiderman.

I wouldnt mind people getting back into this thread after all it's all about SPIDERMAN!!
Well, I just finished watching Spiderman Unlimited from 1999 and it took a couple of weeks
to watch the 13 episodes which were all very good. I accually liked the different characters
somehow they did a different goblin character and made Mr. Jamesons son a wolf and more
of Venom and Carnage were great two and they went back on the series before about how
Venom was made.

I accually liked that girl character of one of the rebels? she was interesting and well that
guy with the messy hair felt like another character from another tv series but forget where
but he was great to.

At times Spidermans web powers were useless against those robots that look like 80s robots, lol.

Spiderman Unlimited had three major flaws:
1-It wasn't Spiderman 2099. Spiderman 2099 was hugely successful in the 90's, and this was inspired in part by it. But it was always a bit disappointing that it wasn't Spiderman 2099.
2-It was clearly made to compete with Batman Beyond, and in every area that mattered it was inferior.
3-Because of #2 the show was probably rushed out. The first episode specially had a horrible script that didn't make any sense.

On it's own the show wasn't bad. Specially the later episodes, but over all it was disappointing.

firestar was made for the series as pyro was a brotherhood of mutant so a villain also they had licencing issues with another male torch type hero so they made firestar .

for me the best spiderman was 90's spiderman the guitar rift music and the animation was ahead of its time

Saw the Spider-Man movie last night. Awesome reboot, just awesome. Took all the campiness away from the Toby McGuire Spider-Man flicks; did a great job using a villain with a Jekyll/Hyde complex. The new actor even did a far superior job to Toby, I feel. Then there's the damsel, we got Gwen Stacey over Mary Jane; they fleshed out the character far better, she's barely in distress or distracting for Spider-Man. Dennis Leary does a superb acting job as well. All in all, it's the superior flick in the web slingers history, I'll probably go more in to detail when I'm not on an iPhone.

I liked it but i think they tried to make him more batmanish than the others i always thought spidey was bit more beacon of light than dark vigilante that they portrayed in the film though .

but i bet any money that the next villian will be electro after the teaser
