This is not a sustainable model by any stretch. Like I've said before, TNA has burned any and all good will they've had with the fans at this point and it doesn't matter what network they're on or how good the matches are, no one is tuning in. Even if they're paying for the slot, they're still going to have trouble attracting advertisers and viewers to make this a profitable venture for anyone.

Even in the headline screencap used for the news article on the main page, the look on Dixie's face reminds me of Homer Simpson when Lisa takes away the roasted pig from his party. Gets cancelled from Spike: "It's just a little dirty, it's still good, it's still good." Gets cancelled from DA: "It's just a little slimy, it's still good, it's still good." Now they're paying for TV time: "It's just a little airborne, it's still good, it's still good."

Someone just needs to tell her "It's gone, Dixie."

This may be where some of the few big names they have left might decide its time to head out.

With the Dudleys doing so well, and the New Age Outlaws getting a run not long ago, you have to think it's playing in the minds of the Hardys.

I think I have the fight network on my fibre op at my new place it was in the 100's but then
I looked again it was in the 600's which I forgot about maybe it was moved there and I see impact being on
at 10pm on wed night but smackdown is showned at the same time but starts at 9pm and impact
is on in the middle of smackdown so thats a ratings collide in canada but doesnt count I suppose?

Smackdown ratings in Canada have been as strong as Raw ratings for a decade. That's a no-contest.

Yeah, the Fight Network is such a marginally small network and Impact is such a non-factor that it's less of a ratings collision and more of a mosquito going splat on a Smackdown's windshield.

I have found Smackdown has better quality matches then Raw and I always thought smackdown
in canada has always been popular by canadian viewers. And aftermath after the show is decent
that I dont watch sometimes but it's cool that Jimmy Korderas is working with sn360 nice to see
him have a nice life. And I met him before to.

Korderas is a really nice guy. Met him a couple of times at indy shows in Toronto, in the past few years. He's still an active ref.

And yeah, Smackdown is and always has been the "wrestling" show.

Impact did 175,000 viewers on the 11 PM slot on their final night on DA. Tuesday they start on POP, we'll see how it goes. It certainly seems like POP is expecting big numbers, even numbers similar to their run on Spike. I have a feeling that POP is going to become disenchanted with TNA rather quickly.

Are you trying to imply that TNA is only staying alive because some people are still gullible enough to believe the lie that is their viability?

I'm shocked by this scandalous allegation.

The thing for TNA is their first two shows are lowly advertised Best Of shows. Their debut is for 1/5 for their first episode of Impact, which I think is getting taped in Bethlehem, I'm not sure.

But I may have misinterpreted the head of POP's quotes, in that they said they expect they need to rehab the audience but that they think they can surpass Spike TV with the numbers. I'll make a prediction that we're starting a POP TV cancels Impact thread in the first half of 2016.

And let's not forget that TNA is sharing ad revenue with POP, they aren't even getting a rights fee. TNA isn't paying for a time buy so to speak.

If there was ever a promotion in dire need of reformatting, this is that promotion.

It is in major need for reforming, but the TNA management have done such a marvelous job of making the entity itself and the names "TNA" and "Impact" so worthless in the eyes of fans, that it's simply beyond repair as it currently stands.

This same group of talent and even a few of the hands in management under a different brand could make some magic happen and at this point I think that would be easier for POP TV to do than trying to rebuild this promotion. TNA right now is like a rusted out old clunker sitting in a junkyard, sure, it might be a once recognisable brand name, like Edsel or something, but no one thinks Edsel anymore when they think cars and yes, there's some decent parts still in good condition under that hood, but shit, it would be easier for you to just take those parts and build a new car rather than try to repair this one.
