Web Comics!
Web Comics!
On the heels of my post in the Lounge thread featuring the Oatmeal, I thought we could have a place to share some of the many daily comics out there. There are a few that I regularly check and keep up on and I'm sure many of you have your own that you enjoy. So, let's share them out. Who knows, we might find a new favourite.
I'll start with one that I really related to: http://theawkwardyeti.com/comic/burden/
The Heart and Brain line of the Awkward Yeti is a favourite of mine that usually never fails to entertain.

Re: Web Comics!
There aren't any web comics I follow regularly, but I do often check out xkcd. It is often referenced on other technology themed websites.

Fantastic!
I also like Katie Tiedrich's Awkward Zombie, whose comics are almost always video game related and hilarious. For example:

Indeed.
Katie Tiedrich has also covered Stardew Valley, a game I know I've heard you mention before: http://www.awkwardzombie.com/index.php? ... mic=111416

Re: Web Comics!
Here are two web comics I've enjoyed in the past. It took me a while to search for them because I could not remember their names. Both have mature themes and language, and could probably be considered as twisted or sick humor.
- I think The Perry Bible Fellowship may no longer be made, or only sporadically.
- Cyanide & Happiness often gives me a laugh, but can be a little twisted.

Re: Web Comics!
Warning for C&H: they randomly do "Depressing comic weeks", and they get pretty dark.
I'm a fan of the Adventures of Dr McNinja. It's absurd. They wrapped up the whole series about 2 months ago, and after hearing that, I managed to clear the whole backlog in a few weeks. It's wiiiiiild. Velociraptor Banditos, a Jean Claude Van Damme knock off, Dracula, Tennis worshipping ancent Mayan civilizations...

Re: Web Comics!
That's my one drawback with C&H. Even their regular comics can venture into dark territory.
Nice! That will be worth checking out. One of my absolute favourites that borders on that same level of absurdity while maintaining a coherent, continuing plot is 8-Bit Theater:

Even looking it up for the link I had to stop myself from getting hooked back into it again.
